Triple Double Online

The Triple Double All-Star Classic is our annual spring event that concludes the season by showcasing some of the most exciting basketball talent and positive personalities associated with the league. It’s a promotional celebration that gives the community and future players a chance to get to know Triple Double. The league's elite players represent their respective teams in the Triple Double All-Star Game, three-point shootout and slam-dunk contest. 

The 2009 Triple Double All-Star Classic will shift from Nicollet Island's DeLaSalle High School to the Target Center Sunday April 5. The event will include Timberwolves and Lynx giveaways and appearances by Timberwolves and Lynx players and coaches.

The day is filled fan-interactive activities and giveaways that welcomes all ages to join in Triple Double's celebration of competition, leadership and diversity in the community. The event has taken place in all five years of Triple Double’s existence and four of which were held at DeLaSalle High School. Various businesses and organizations have sponsored the event each year, including B96, Davanni's, Chipotle, Red Bull, Mac's Industrial Sports Bar, The Minneapolis N.E. Lions, Moose On Monroe, Standard Heating and Air, Simply Luxery Imports and the Minnesota Ripknees.

The 2007 All-Star Classic showcased an immaculate dunk contest that was broadcasted on the KARE11 news and received a two-page photo spread and feature article in the Downtown Journal. B96’s DJ HotRod has emceed the annual event for the last two years, as it has become highly anticipated by players and fans while promising to further in sophistication and excitement for years to come.

The 6th annual Triple Double All-Star Classic April 5 promises to further its sophistication and excitement thanks to the addition of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx to the Triple Double community. Check back for updates on the 2009 Triple Double All-Star Classic.
